Supplier Value Awards

The Supplier Value Awards were introduced to the Home Office and its agencies in 2007-08. The awards seek to recognise the achievements of suppliers and staff in driving value from our commercial activities, and to help us meet the challenges of our Comprehensive Spending Review allocations. The awards will be presented to those who have delivered the most value-added benefits.

The programme started in July 2007, and culminates in a prestigious awards ceremony to be held in July 2008.

In 2008, awards will be presented for:

  • Best Technology Implementation;
  • Best Technology Improvement;
  • Most Beneficial Contribution to a Project or Programme;
  • Most Beneficial Contribution to Sustainability; and
  • Best Performance Improvement.

Overall awards will also be presented for:

  • Overall Supplier of the Year;
  • Home Office Procurement Professional of the Year; and
  • Permanent Secretary's Award for Outstanding Contribution in Driving Value (for a non-procurement professional).

Suppliers and staff can share their ideas for the awards by emailing the supplier value awards team: suppliervalueawards@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.
