This page gives details of the call for proposals for funding under the European Refugee Fund 2008-2010.
The call for tender for the European Refugee Fund 2008-2010 is now closed. The fund is mainly aimed at organisations involved in setting up projects that assist in the integration of refugees or people who have been granted humanitarian protection or discretionary leave.
The value of the fund available for external tender for 2008 is approximately £1million. It is targeted at projects in the following areas:
Employment-related projects must specifically demonstrate how they will add value to the new Refugee Integration and Employment Service, for example by providing sector-specific employment or employment training opportunities.
Project proposals from local, regional or national organisations will be considered. The maximum grant that will be available from the fund is restricted to £250,000 a year for each project.
Funding can be provided on a multi-annual basis for up to three years.

It is intended to conduct a series of pre-application workshops during the call period for prospective bidders to attend. These will be held in central London in January and February 2008 and limited spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis.
